Elyssara Starmist is the Deputy Guildmaster of the Fellaren-Krae Spellfilchers Guild.
Elyssara can be found at her shop and house (in the high class commercial district), sometimes at dinner at the Singing Nightingale Inn or at her brother's place (always escorted by her personal maid, ef spellfilcher M1/T1).
Elyssara and Adaon work best as a team, gaining a +1 to saving throws and THAC0 when together.They have also perfected and frequently use the "good cop- bad cop" strategy (with Adaon being the good one and Elyssara using to the hilt her ability to subtly intimidate).
Appearance
Adaon and Elyssara could, at first glance, be mistaken for identical twins, they are, in fact, very much alike, but for gender and the fact that Adaon is right handed and Elyssara is left handed.
Both have silver white shoulder-length hair and violet eyes, on the lightly tanned skin of gold elves.
Elyssara appears cold as an ice statue, she dresses only in white (more often than not wearing her "Robe of the Archmagi"), with a platinum circlet over her hair and a gold armband on the left arm. Her gaze seems to pass trough people she perceives as "inferior" (everybody not of full elven ancestry, and quite a few elves too).
Personality
Elyssara is often icily polite, but has also been known to go into fits of cold rage, even throwing some customers out of her shop (by magical means of course, she would never debase herself touching such scum…), some wonder at the fact that her business is flourishing anyway, but her superb craftmanship and fair prices ensure a steady flow of customers.
She, in fact, enjoys playing the supercilious Ar Tel', her attitude has gained her entry in some of the more snobbish aristocratic circles in Sembia, allowing the gathering of important information.
Background
The family that had celebrated the twins' birth as an especially good omen , went into mourning and never pronounced their names again ( at least not in public) after they started their spellfilcher training .
The two grew up rebellious and fiercely attached to each other. While Adaon often ended up in trouble, more often than not Elyssara was the instigator. After the last of a long series of teachers gave up on them (after an incident involving a potion of fire breathing mysteriously ending up in the vegetable broth for dinner), the two were given in charge of Thaldir as a last chance. He succeeded in "taming" them (quotation from one of the former teachers) and brought them with him to Fellaren-Krae .
Elyssara is the deputy guildmaster, with a keen eye for secrecy and security, she has Thaldir's fullest trust, but, contrary to rumours, there is no romantic involvement (as yet…).
