Posted - 25 Mar 2009 : 09:47:07 I am trying to build an ultimate hunter.
The concept is a fast moving, lightly armoured, duel weapon wielding warrior. A hunter comfortable in city or rural settings, able to track, bypass traps and use knowledge of his prey to the greatest effect.
I want this to an npc type, not an individual so want to avoid unique factors. Also I will want them to be associated with the Red Wizards so need to avoid arcane classes.
It needs to work at all character levels rather than being a specific build.
I was thinking of starting with: Rogue for 2 levels, Ranger for 3 levels, then Bloodhound PrC. Probably with a varient of arcane schooling to allow wand use.
Anyone have a better idea? |

Actually, if you replace the Rogue 2 with Barbarian 3, you do get Trap Sense and Uncanny Dodge, plus the Rage ability.
I like it
But is uncanny dodge better than evasion for an npc? |
