Has anybody ran a quest where one of their characters was the offspring of a god? I know it is like BG but in BG the character did not know. I was thinking of allowing a PC to be the offspring of Azuth, naturally the character would be a Sorc. but the F&P book says anybody with a DR of 0 is immortal. I was just looking for ideas on this. Any help would be appriected.... |

Acutally it was my idea to kinda of spice things up a little bit. To try get the person who is was going to use this character more interested in the game by adding a different possiblity they had not thought of. When the people I play with need characters they tell me the basics of what they want and I make create the characters for them. They will tell me the basics I need to make the characters. I was thinking of an interesting background and came up with the father is Azuth thing thinking it would add a little flavor to the party which includes an Elf Druid & Dwarven Bar. The character who chose the Sorc did so because she felt like the party needed a little attack magic but was upset with the low HP and other problem with a low level Sorc. I tried to tell her to be what she wanted but she decided the needs of the party were more important... |

How did the PC pitch this idea? Is it just someone going for the crunch factor? |
