I know, I just resurrected an old thread, but I did stats for Garagos, if you're still interested.
Sorry, that epic campaign ended before my foolish idea of a big avatars fight (It was the three above vs Bane). |

Posted - 14 May 2006 : 23:48:40 The F&P avatars stats are "fine" if you don't go in really high epic (40)+, anyway at such levels, believable fights in the realms are difficult to make up.
Like you, I don't care about stats for Gods in their home plane, I don't want to see fights between mortal & gods without very special circumstances like when Finder went in Abyss to finish off Moander.
At best, we could have a different set of rules to handle Gods vs Gods fights...
In the same idea, I use the stats of arch-devils and demons lords as their "manifestation" in the realms if they are called in. |

Personally, given how powerful the avatars were in 2nd edition, and how powerful epic level characters are in 3.5, I would be in inclined to see the stats in Faiths and Pantheons AS avatars, but thats just me. Demigods I would leave alone, since they are "newly ascended" from mortal levels of power, or greatly fallen from their previous power.
But thats just me.
And of course, in 3.5 we have the concept of aspects as well.
The stats for the gods are the stats I use the for The Avatar. The Avatar stats are the ones that I use for when they possess a mortal. And on their Homeplane, unless you have Divine Assistance, don't even bother. |
