How long is an elf in diapers?
How long before an elf is able to speak their first words? String sentences together?

This issue has always bugged me. Elves start off adventuring at around 80-120 years of age. While I can explain what a human was doing the first 14 years of their lives.... I can't explain why it took an elf 80 years to be ready for adventuring.

We have teenagers these days that want to be treated like adults. What about elven teenagers?

Human society has rules about respecting one's elders. When you have an Elven "Teenager" that is 50 years old.... how would a 25 year old human react? How does that Elven teenager come off? As a know it all kid, with weak logic, and full of emotion?

That's great info.

Based on that, it would seem to place a 33 year old elf, at about 13-14 years of a human. 50 is about 16. 75 would be 18 human years.

And it is all explained by hormones, as it is with teenagers. =)

Thanks!

I think you are after the april 12th, 2006 reply. :)

I'm really interested in those first 75 years.

As for teenagers respecting their elders, I was refering to human (young adult) to elven (teenager) relations.

Aha got it..

An elf is classed as a child up till his 75 year and act accordingly in there childish ways.

75 - 110 ish an elf is classed as an adolescent, both males and females mature at approx the same rate. this is the Learning stage of life where they are inducted into elven society etc and learn the basics of life!

As for your question regarding teenagers respecting their elders, Elves when they have reached venerable age (350 and older) are considered an elder an often differed to for there wisdom and vast experience.

I hope this helps

elves are 'diaperfree' at the approximly same age as humans ... and learn to talk at approx the same time ... they just live so long that they allow htemselves to be childen much longer (somehow keeping puberty off) ... but if in the case of emergency they can physically age rather fast ... as least as far as i remember

I'm not 100% positive but I would suggest reading the 2e Complete book of elves for your answers.

I do not have mine to hand but I will check as soon as I can. Unless another scribe has the info to hand!
