Quick question for all those out there wiser than I...
Encounter R14 (Despayr's hit and run missions against the PC's) stipulates that if Despayr is killed that the PC's should see Esvel Graycloak 'porting to Shadowdale with the Shadow Shard.
In R13 (The actual big fight with Despayr), there is no mention of Esvel or the Shadow Shard.
Does the Shadow Shard NEED to get to the Shadowdale? |

I was leaning that way myself. I noticed her conspicuous absence from any of the tactical encounters. She only shows up to safe-guard the artifact, and in a way that the PC's cannot disrupt. I presume that this is the set up for the next module. I just like to act with consensus. |

I'm betting that it does. Considering that is sort of the key to the Weave disruption plot, and Esvele seems to be central to the Sharran plot, I'm pretty sure she needs to take that with her so that she can cause trouble later on. But that's just a guess on my part. |
