My players keep out

Last session my players found out that the sceptre of Mykrul they had recovered for Lady Bronwyn earlier in the campaign was slowing turning her into a vampire. Duke Pwyll had despatched the party to the Temple of Lathander in Waterdeep to get the High priestess to cast a divination so they can figure out how to cure her

(THe Vampirism can only be cured when the Sceptre is destroyed and the Sceptre can only be destroyed when Artor Morlin is dead)

I was thinking of doing something similar to Errtu's message to Drizzt in the Sea of Swords novels (Where they visit the witch out on that island)

Now the question for my fellow scribes is how much infomation about Morlin should I hand out to the party?

The plan is for them to do the 3 Vampires in Waterdeep modules in Dungeon magazine only with a different hook then those presented ion the modules
