 Gnome story line ideas..

So we got his gnome in our party, gets along great with everybody, top notch rogue, will take one for the team. But I'm looking for additional story arcs for him. Any ideas?

Last time I checked, Beeloo Jansen was still on the run! Hmm...that makes me think! I hate it when people are so insensitive! Who gave the authorities the power over an elephant to choose its owner for him? I personally think Beeloo was right! But perhaps people are simply biased against his way of thinking. He juss didn't trust the dwarf you see? Now that's not at all saying that all dwarves aren't trustworthy, juss the ones around Beeloo, who told him it wasn't wise to bring the elephant into Undermountain. They juss didn't see Beeloo's logic, that instead of bringing an iron golem, why not bring something even bigger, and has bigger senses? It's not like the iron golem is gonna warn you of impending danger - and don't even get me started about the illithids! See all this trouble, from all sides I know, led Beeloo to believe that Undermountain wasn't the type of thing an adventurer such as himself should be undertaking. After all, Waterdeep hasn't been the same since they changed their name from Culver! The Jansen clan knows this all too well! And pay attention, because it was that exact thought that sparked Beeloo to research his ROOTS! Knowing he couldn't go back to Athkatla, simply because the elephant bandits were still looking for him and the Shadow Thieves decided it was in their best interest to stay neutral in the matter --- ditto the Cowled Wizards, and the Council of Six --- and thus couldn't gain info about all his cousins from his dearest cousin Jan....and Kylie! Ohhh, how he missed the turnips! But being a Jansen, you juss know a good turnip when you see one! Oh back on track, so while Beeloo couldn't go back to Athkatla, he set out for Culver, which is still Waterdeep's code name amongst the gnomes! With that in mind, it'd be all the more easier for Beeloo to find other Jansen's in Culver! See, he still doesn't trust the dwarves, you see? But saying Culver cuts them out of the equation! Well, until he met another gnome, but he looked like a dwarf, because of the beard, of course! This one was on the ROUTE to Baldur's Gate! While they both spoke the cant, there was something different about this gnome, who didn't act like a gnome, which provoked Beeloo to accuse him of being a dwarf! It's a long story, I oughta tell you it some time! Nevertheless, while he spoke the cant, he didn't know of Culver, but instead subjected Beeloo to a continuous discussion of how someone named Tiax Rules All! So off Beeloo went back to Athkatla, with the same non-Culver knowing gnome (thus a dwarf to poor Beeloo; he juss doesn't trust dwarves, you see?) spouting dire warnings of Tiax coming to rule, chasing after him! But clever Beeloo knew the Cowled Wizards would come once within Crimmor, and come they did! And being in Crimmor, the Cowled Wizards there didn't know Beeloo was wanted by the unrighteous elephant bandits, but they took that non-Culver knowing gnome away from Beeloo, saying they'll send him to an island asylum in the Nelanther, and rewarded Beeloo with a good community award thereof. Sadly, all Beeloo really wanted was to meet more Jansen's. And to get his elephant back!

I'm also a fan of the Bleaching from Gnomes of Golarion, it is Pathfinder, but easily adapted to the Realms. Makes for interesting RP'ing.

I have a gnome PC. My longest running. I make heavy use of the Misty Path from Mintiper's Chapbooks. His homeland is Myth Dyrallis from Lands of Intrigue. Lots of fun stuff there.

Maybe a situation where his size is an advantage - having to sneak through secret corridors/tunnels or him having the magical power/weapon to perfectly combat a massivly dangerous villian.

Have him be inadvertently be left behind, in the party's stronghold, by his adventuring companions. He then has to fend off the repeated attempts at breaking in from a couple of inept rogues.
