in BG2, if ur romance becomes cursed with vampirism by Bodhi, when u kill Bodhi, u find those books on vampirism. u end up runnin around doin some stuff but the bottom line is u find out that Amaunator is the cure 2 vampirism. u take the vamps body as well as the heart of the vamp who turned him/her 2 this statue of Amaunator n place the body in the statues arms. n there ya go, the person is unvamped, a normal human again. my ? is: does this apply 2 the reast of the FR world or was this just something made up 4 BG2? r there any records of this happening any other time other than BG2? |

And the place was one of the main places for his whorship, and Amauanator was a Netherse god was he not and old spells where used there mabey there is a spell that cures vampirism that is still in work at this place. And that place was a part of his divine essence, since he did need quite a bit of power to keep one of the shadowlords in there prison(it was one of the 7 ancient Shadow lords who serv Shar right, who some how got free from there prison in the limbo i think it was) |

Posted - 08 Jan 2004 : 02:22:35 As far as I know it was just something made up for Bg2, it is however a very interesting idea. Amaunator was the Sunlord so it would make sense. I like it, I might even use it seeing as how it isn't really the easy way out since Amaunator's temples or shrines isn't in abundance these days. |
