...I've also got the trilogy on DVD.

Is that the one where you get a free DeLorean model with each pack... complete with flux capacitor...? .

Unfortunately, when I got the trilogy, any freebies that might have come with it had long since been given out.

Now where did I place that Time Travel device and the manual on how to use it, so I can sneak into the future to get all the Realms books coming out this year.

I don't know Doc. But, if you figure it out, be sure to save an extra seat in the DeLorean for me.

Then be very happy you didn't watch the TV-show where a (young) woman answered the question as to what her favourite old movie was with - Pulp Fiction

Made me feel old at least...

Anyone in 2005 using the D&D Monster Calendar?

Sometimes it pays to go to the mall. I found a daily LoTR caledar with stills from the movie, one for each day. Everything in this fly by night specialty store was half price!

Sweeet!

Happy New Year folks! May this year be more prosperous (are you hearing me Waukeen?) than last. Bring on the lore.

The latter is what I used for 2004. My family has read one too many Lone Wolf books and has a fondness for the Stark family in George R.R. Martin's fantasy series.

Not I... I'm doing my normal tradition of having at least one calendar with nice artwork, but no room to write in events, and a regualr calendar that has room for me to notate things.

For this year, the first is an Azumanga Daioh calendar, and the second is a wolf calendar.

Ah, yes, New Year's . . . the time when we celebrate another artificial time marker.

Pass me a (root) beer and another calander, please.

Happy New Year, may all your dreams and wishes come true over the next 12 months.
The Sage Posted - 01 Jan 2005 : 14:21:23
I see that some of my fellow Australians have already presented their wishes here... . Now I ask them... What are you all doing up so early today?...

Anyways... From both the Lady K. and myself, we would like to wish all our fellow scribes here at Candlekeep, a Happy and Realmslore-filled New Year and a joyous 2005 . We would also like to thank each and every one of you for making this one of the best FR forums... no... check that... one of the best forums on any subject (since we all sometimes have a tendency to "stretch" the scope of what "is" considered Realmslore and what isn't... ) that we have ever had the pleasure of being members of.

Here's to the year of 2005 and all the delightful Realmslore it will bring .

Errr... I haven't seen a glass--actually, yes I did! Er...a halfling had it! Yes, a halfling! He ran that way! ::gestures off into the throng of Candlekeep scribes::

Oh, what cork popping? Um, that was probably your eardrum--yes, your eardrum!

::skulks away with Alaundo's stolen wine glass and gestures for a wench to bring him the best wine imported just yesterday::

Well met, and indeed a very happy new year to all

My word, I see the festivities have gotten into full swing already!

Thank ye all for thy time at Candlekeep, to the authors, game designers and The Hooded One and Ed for the amazing flow of Realmslore and information which ye all bring to the library.

...and to all the scribes herein, for making this place what it is.

A very prosperous and happy new year. Now, wheres my glass? I'm sure I heard a cork pop somewhere
