She's not jumping from rooftop to rooftop just yet, but her high charisma indicate a proud future!

PDK's Daughter, born Saturday 1:00am, 12lb 4oz (a local record I hear... she may have the Jotunbrud feat or may have an inherent +5 bonus to Constitution due to all the Omega-3s taken by the mother during pregnancy...)

Mod Edit: Shifted to a more appropriate shelf.

Don't forget the stinking cloud ability that all babies have.
Purple Dragon Knight Posted - 27 Apr 2009 : 06:06:27
Baby update:

1 year old now;

Speed: 15ft/x4 (40ft/x4 when you're not looking at her, and when there are treacherous places to go, like a stairwell without a baby gate, which require Papa Dwarf to take the Run feat so he can save her with his low speed of 20ft, which is thankfully 20ft/x5 thanks to the said run feat and the fact that I no longer walk around in medium or heavy armor...)

Climb speed: 15ft as well, but going up only; going down speed is 0 ft still... going downstairs is still too hard for her :)

Charisma is still through the roof, but she also now have the Intimidate skill (not *just* Diplomacy... :P ) and she can also use the Shriek ability pretty good. I think she also has some kind of reverse Wild Empathy (i.e. she scares our dog silly... for her, petting means hitting the dog's nose like it's a squeaky toy or something...)

Starting gold: her starting gold is through the roof, and she's years from adventuring age... (i.e. most of my pay is diverted to augmenting her ever growing equipment list; someone needs to invent some REAL WORLD bags of holding!!)

Her wisdom has decreased I think; she takes more risks, and accumulates more bumps and bruises!

Her intelligence is much higher though. So is Con and Str... not sure about Dex though... :P

That's all I can think about now...

OH!

She took the Mounted Combat feat; only mom or dad are the mounts! She even mastered "Fast Mount" and has taught the trick "come!" to both mom mount and dad mount! (she does not even need words: she raises both hands in a "pick me up now" gesture, and whatever mount is present at the time immediately obeys and carries her off to whatever destination she requests)

My congratulations, PDK, all the best for you and the growing family
Purple Dragon Knight Posted - 05 Apr 2008 : 22:49:57
LOL! 12 pounds AND 4 ounces... never forget the ounces!

Seriously, Jotunbrud feat I think... I hope she does not end up as a star player on American Gladiators!!!

Congrats, PDK!

Wow, congratulations PDK! 12 lbs! Are you sure the munchkinŽs not a half orc? DonŽt be offended, in two weeks when she is screaming and wants to be nursed at 3:00 am, youŽll be thinking the same thing about the little monster .

She's been here two nights... and I have already experienced the "nursing battle." Compound that with our 3-year old female labrador retriever who is competing for attention by barking at the patio door to be let out, and you got a true symphony!

Big Al, are you referring to some new scribe? Perhaps named Portable Document Format!

Anyways, congratulations to you PDK, and to your wife as well. Truly, this is an experience to be treasured.

Congratulations, PDK

Edit:

I only think that is fitting to add a possible papparazzi photo of PDK baby in my blog.
