Posted - 17 Feb 2009 : 00:30:44 Hi folks! Rabiesbunny here, a long-time Forgotten Realms player, and soon to be first time DM. :)
My group and I are heavy roleplayers (and we're still playing 3.5, eff 4th edition's nonsensical backwards changes to Abeir-Toril!), but haven't been playing regular D&D for the past few months, as our regular DM, got burned out after about 2 straight years.
So now it's my turn! I'll be posting lots of stories, and hopefully, I can ask you kind folks for advice.
Thanks! |

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Posted - 17 Feb 2009 : 00:31:50 Greetings to you Rabiesbunny, and welcome to Candlekeep.
Here you will find many curious questions pertaining to the extensive Realmslore of the FR setting. As well, you will also discover many fantastic answers -- some of which have even been generously provided by the Great Sages of the Realms themselves.
So please, take a look around. If you feel the need to ask a question, or to merely discuss some element of the Realmslore, then simply find the appropriate place or shelf within the library and open a scroll. One of our many knowledgeable scribes, the dedicated staff of Candlekeep, or even a visitor to these halls, will always be happy to assist you in learning more about the Realms.
See you in the library.
