I have been lurking in the shadows of this gem of a forum for quite a few months and have decided to finally join.
I've been a Realms fan for over a decade, oddly enough I started reading the books first and then got into DnD and the FR campaign setting. I've been playing DnD for only a couple years now but my gaming groups and myself are sticking with 3.5 due to our complete lack of interest in the newest edition.
I am also gearing up to start DMing a Realms Campaign and decided now would be the perfect time to join this amazing group of enthusiasts and sages. I plan on spending the rest of the foreseeable future reading all your posts with great interest. |

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

Here you will find many curious questions pertaining to the extensive Realmslore of the FR setting. As well, you will also discover many fantastic answers -- some of which have even been generously provided by the Great Sages of the Realms themselves.
So please, take a look around. If you feel the need to ask a question, or to merely discuss some element of the Realmslore, then simply find the appropriate place or shelf within the library and open a scroll. One of our many knowledgeable scribes, the dedicated staff of Candlekeep, or even a visitor to these halls, will always be happy to assist you in learning more about the Realms.
