Posted - 22 May 2009 : 14:47:09 I saw the Drizztmanchild raving about this site. So I decided to check it out. So is it true that Ed Greenwood post here? I look forward to learning more Realmslore. |

Posted - 22 May 2009 : 16:01:28 Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Posted - 22 May 2009 : 15:01:32 Greetings to you Nightseer, and welcome to Candlekeep.
Here you will find many curious questions pertaining to the extensive Realmslore of the FR setting. As well, you will also discover many fantastic answers -- some of which have even been generously provided by the Great Sages of the Realms themselves.
So please, take a look around. If you feel the need to ask a question, or to merely discuss some element of the Realmslore, then simply find the appropriate place or shelf within the library and open a scroll. One of our many knowledgeable scribes, the dedicated staff of Candlekeep, or even a visitor to these halls, will always be happy to assist you in learning more about the Realms.
See you in the library.
...
And yes, Ed Greenwood does post here at Candlekeep -- through the proxy known as The Hooded One. He only answers questions that are posed to him though, and sometimes offers speculative thoughts on other scrolls, again through The Hooded One. See this scroll for more details.
