Posted - 28 Sep 2009 : 22:48:08 Salutations all,
My name is Dennis, or Trollhoer online, I'm a university student and budding game designer from Sweden. Been a fan of the Realms since childhood, although I'm probably more familiar with the novels and the computer games of the setting, than I am with all the versions of the D&D game. For tabletop role-play, we've been focusing on other games.
Still, very happy to meet you all and I'm hoping to be able to participate in your discussions here. This is a brilliant source of information, I must say.
If you're interested in such things, I run a blog called "A Fantasy Fan's Fabrications" at http://trollhoer.blogspot.com which deals in "all things nerdy and fantasy". Right now I'm doing a few tutorials on how to create Warhammer terrains, and painting miniatures, but there's a few posts on literature and forgotten realms available in the list tag.
Again, happy to make your acquaintance and hope to see you around. |

Posted - 29 Sep 2009 : 01:10:25 Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
