Hi, just found these forums while looking for an answer to the question that will be my first non-introductory post ^_^ I like what I see so I think I'll try to stay around Candlekeep.
I've been a Forgotten Realms fan since 3.0 launched, but I can't bring myself to go into the 4e rules (WoW on paper :/). I'm in the US Army 82nd Airborne division currently in Afghanistan, and right now I'm planning a 3.5e campaign to run when I get back to the states in three months. I've played DnD since around 2003ish (whenever 3e launched), but this will be my first time DMing. I think I'll do well though. I love writing and storytelling so DMing is really more cut out for me I think. Been actually considering opening a website where I can post all the adventures and full campaigns that I write.
My favorite character class to play is a Mulhorandi Cleric, I love animals, and I'm looking forward to joining the Candlekeep forum :) |

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here! 
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!  |
