Posted - 15 Jun 2010 : 18:09:11 Hi, my name is Judd and my friends, Pete and Aaron and I have started a new campaign, concerning two Harpers in Waterdeep, keeping a Masked Lord safe while investigating a rash of assassination attempts.
I'm a library student, working as staff in a university library while finishing up my MLS. When I'm not gaming I'm lifting heavy things or wrasslin', reading or writing.
Thanks for having us.

Posted - 19 Jun 2010 : 01:26:07 I posted a thread about a blog post concerning Waterdeep and the North, any idea where it went and if it was removed, please tell me why.
Thanks. |

Some initial thoughts on reading about Waterdeep. |

Turns out, not only did I have the 3e Forgotten Realms hardcover on my gaming shelf, but shifting around books for an upcoming move has uncovered Waterdeep and the North. I'm really stunned by the difference in tone.
There are bits from W&tN that I disagree with but I like Greenwood's tone and sense of wonder. I will have to cook up a blog post about the bits I really like and the bits I am not so crazy about. |

I had the pleasure of interviewing him twice when I was involved in podcasting. He's a nice guy, always a fun interview.
No, we have another scribe (and moderator) who calls himself The Sage. He uses the same avatar as you -- at least for the moment. He's overdue for another of his avatar changes -- I think he's used every single avatar on this site, at least once. |

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |
