Posted - 18 Aug 2010 : 15:11:01 pal on the Piazza forums suggested I should visit over here ;)
I've known the Candlekeep site existed for ages judt not it's forums as normally I haunt ENworld, WOTC etc. :)
Been playing D&D since 86 or so. Almost constant DM, only get to be a player on the computer, sigh so although I know the Relams it's mostly from playing point of view via the PC :p
My fave settings are Dark Sun and Spelljammer but I've collected modules, read books etc on the Realms since the beginning :) I still think the original "grey" box set for the Realms is one of the best D&D, and indeed, RPG, items, ever!
I used to paint lots of minis, and do digital art, mostly D&D based

Have you dropped any of your brilliant Forgotten Realms 3D art over at Candlekeep yet? |

Posted - 19 Aug 2010 : 02:10:38 Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
Spelljammer was my first love of D&D settings. My username should make that obvious to folks that know their Spelljammer material. |

Posted - 18 Aug 2010 : 18:06:00 Well met, Silverblade the Enchanter!
I never got the chance to play in Spelljammer though it looked very intriguing, but Dark Sun is by far one of my favorite end of the world settings. Very Conan the Barbarian and brutal, which can be nice to play in when the mood fits.
Anyways welcome to the halls of Candlekeep! |
