Posted - 27 Oct 2003 : 13:18:13 An Elf stands before you.
Willowy and frail looking, this scarcely clad, lithe creature encourages the base impulses of your primal urges as you stare into her sparkling emerald eyes; eyes that hold so many terrible memories, the agonies of a thousand souls; eyes that sparkle with unwept tears.
Her forlorn gaze and utterly feminine curves spurn you on to grab her, grasping that silver hair in fumbling fingers, tightening it around your hands in harsh handfulls that send exquisite daggers of pain across her scalp. Standing, now, face to face, you lean in; trying to entice some fire from this complacent beauty, some semblance of life.
The softest of kisses, and her demeanour changes suddenly; swiftly. Now it is you that is entangled, fallen prey to this equally fallen creature. Her lips part in a moan of longing, revealing pearly white fangs, and a sigh, almost a song, entices you to look into her eyes again. There is anger there; burning feircely, and the dark ripples of a hatred spanning centuries; for all of your kind.
She shoves you back, roughly, and before you can move twin daggers are buried in your chest; arcane-runed blades that shimmer beyond the extent of your understanding; curved, draconic blades extending on chains that are wrapped around her forearms.
The last thing your dying eyes see are the daggers retracting from your numbing form with a swift tug, and the girl, that elf, smiling as she raises the bloody blades to her still-pouting lips..

Posted - 29 Oct 2003 : 03:40:18 Indeed! I suggest you keep any and all knives out of people's chests. Between Sage's divination spells and my conjurations, no killer shall escape justice . . . .
(CSI, eat your heart out. )
Seriously, I don't have all the answers. In fact, I need to get around to getting some of my questions answered . . . they're piling up. |

Posted - 27 Oct 2003 : 13:31:00 Greetings and well met, all.
I am Sailkie Raedwoode, known as Silk to all beings that have encountered me, and lived to speak of it.
I am a Rogue, a Ranger, a Wanderer, and this tiny creature here on my shoulder is my companion Pseudodragon, Dracatha. Might we seek shelter amongst the hallowed tomes of this Sanctuary? Or do thee dare cast us out? Think carefully before you answer, friend, as I am swift to anger, and memories stay long in my mind.
We thank you for your... hospitality. Take my cloak, if you please, I am weary after many days hard travel. Be warned, I do not take kindly to misuse of my property, and many have learned this the hard way.
I see you admiring my moonblades. Oh, you need not fear, I am in a good mood, though I have killed for less. Yes, they are of the most exquisite craftmanship. Twin daggers of the sharpest adamanite. Crafted to a deadly edge and curved to resemble the barb of a twin-scorpions sting. They were crafted especially for me, moulded to my body for easy access. Yes, the wrist-sheats were custom made aswell. A gift from a Lesser god long ago. Note the mithral chains... they are joined to the daggers at the base for a fast, simple throw, and easily retractable.
But enough of this, you tire me. Just show me to a place where I might rest my weary body, and I shall talk to you again presently.
Now lead on, servant.
