-It's been like, two years or so since I last posted regularly? Something to that effect. How's everyone been? Sage, I remember you had a little girl, Narnra (or a similar spelling, excuse me). How's she doing? I don't really recall anything else happening to anyone else specifically, but...

Quite well, and rather eager to start celebrating her sixth birthday on the 8th of this month. Of course, being much like her father and mother, she's already making all these "plans," which will undoubtedly stretch the bounds of both our imaginations and our coin purses! But I don't care, she deserves it.

-Wow, she's six!? Forget you and your wife, that makes ME feel old!

Yes, indeed, little Narnra will be turning six on Wednesday. Though, in her mind, the celebrations have already begun.

Ah, yes, the infamous ATMs... or Automatic-Teller-Mums.

The same little girl once saw the word "Bud" (short for Budweiser, an American beer) on the TV screen, and informed me that that word spelled "Beer."

Congratulations to you and your wife on the impending glory-of-child, Hawkins. You're both about to embark on one of life's boldest and remarkable journeys.

If I've not already offered such, congratulations! Is this y'all's first?
Yes. We are quite excited!

Awesome! Be prepared for not enough sleep, way more dirty diapers than you'd expect (I'd actually recommend starting to stockpile diapers early), and for baby stuff to cost more than you'd expect!

It's great being a parent, though... Last night, my wife and I were watching a movie whilst sitting on the couch, and I had the little guy sleeping on my chest -- and it was just a great experience.

Thankee!

I'm looking forward to teaching him how to be mischevious, geeky, honorable, and responsible. Not sure about the order of importance, there.
