So I'm finally reading the Neverwinter campaign book... And it discussed a floating enclave called Kolthunral.

I just checked the FRCG, and it only discusses Shade and Sakkors. The Neverwinter book describes what Kolthunral is, but that's it -- there's nothing even resembling a history for it.

So is this somethign I missed by not reading current FR novels, or by not paying for content I don't want in the DDI? Or was Kolthunral created from scratch, for this book?

I think its new. Erik should have some answers about it.

Good call, I shall ping friend Erik and see what he has to offer.

I get that -- it's just that this is the first I've heard of this one, and I'm wanting to know where it came from. Mythallars aren't exactly a copper a dozen, any more.

-A Netherese enclave? I'm not familiar with that name being associated with any Netherese ones that have been mentioned in the past. It could be the Netherese term for an enclave mentioned in Netheril: Empire of Magic, but even if it is, how it got back to floating in the sky is apparently not mentioned.
