Posted - 08 Apr 2011 : 21:55:03 I've been doing some research and I was wondering if somebody here could validate any of these claims. From what I've heard, these following prestige classes are underpowered or essentially broken: - Arcane Trickster - Blackguard - Invisible Blade
On a side note, it seems as if some combinations of PrCs and/or core class levels are rather powerful, notably Aasimar Paladin/Sorcerer/Red Dragon Disciple/one other potential PrC (likely Eldritch Knight, Divine Champion or whatever), or Dwarf Fighter/Dwarven Defender/Weapon Master. I'd like to hear any potential powerful combinations other people have in the game. |

It is, but some PrC were hard to code into the game and so were slightly altered (read nerfed). I don't know about Arcane Trickster and Invisible Blade, but Blackguard suffered from it (no spell progression, just dumb Hurt and Inflict X Wounds 1/day or something). |
