Hi All,
In pursuit of yet more Realms esoterica, I wonder if any of the scribes know the name of the orc tribe that inhabited the Old Owl Well. Lost Empires of Faerun tells us orcs were the most recent (pre-Spellplague) occupants of the site, before "heeding the visions of their shaman and marching on Triboar", only to be eaten by the ancient green dragon Claugiyliamatar.
I know the Old Owl Well is an adventure location in the Neverwinter Nights computer game (which I haven't played), perhaps this provides us with more information about the orcs, or perhaps one of the older Realms publications.
I'm developing the backstory of a half-orc sorcerer NPC who utilizes some of old Netheril's battle magic, and I thought it might be neat to connect him with this tribe. |

In Neverwinter nights 2 you clash with the Bonegnasher Clan, which is a canon fodder clan for the stronger Eyegouger clan. I don't know if this is the same clan that was chased out of Old Owl Well in the first place, but they are now trying to get it back into orcs hands. |

You have free rein here as Eric left this open. I note that the orcs of the region (Sword Mtns. etc.) have long had an affinity to Yutrus so a name that evokes worship to that deity might be in order. If you want some suggestions, let me know.
