In Netheril, I think every enclave and every archwizard or VIP or great House in Netheril each had their own respective symbols and sigils so there isn't a list of symbols other than the symbols of the Shadovar lords and princes in Lords of Darkness and the Netheril trilogy.
I agree that for sure there was many individual sigils, but also some signs to show that someone or something is of Netheril or of a particular city must have been existed. So, I'm going to ask this question to Ed. |

Posted - 09 May 2006 : 01:57:50 The Netheril boxed set reveals little in the way of an *actual* symbol for Netheril unfortunately. Though specific enclave and regional symbols are "hinted" in in some entries.
Though I do agree with Hoondatha about making this a possible question for Ed.

Posted - 08 May 2006 : 22:59:49 Finding the symbols of old realms unfortunately really hard. I've looked all over (one of the byproducts of running a campaign with an active chronomancer), and I can't find any beyond the dwarven empires in Dwarves Deep, plus the various realms of Shanatar from Wyrmskull Throne. I've asked Ed about the symbols and battle standards of the old elven empires, and have gotten back a reply about Myth Drannor. It didn't have a battle standard before the mythal went up, afterward it was: "a horizontal-long-axis oval of twelve twinkling white-haloed-in-purple manypointed stars, floating on a field (vertical-long-axis-oval) of deep forest green." (from Ed)
I don't know anything about Netheril's signs, and agree with Kuje that they probably haven't been published. You might wander over to Ed's thread and ask. You never know, one of the other designers that worked on Netheril might know as well. |
