Thief: I carefully turn the pick counter-clockwise... Barbarian: I put my foot over the thief's shoulder. Thief: WTH? Barbarian: I'm a barbarian. Deal with it
Now the city of Effenfar is found on the surface of Selune, but only on the Abeir side, and noone else knows about it except for the residents of the moon, who actually have a portal that allows them to cross between Toril and Abeir. You'd be surprised at some of the things you'll learn when you talk to those people from the moon. People call them moonmad.... others call them liars because they worship Leira.... but when I checked up on.... oh wait, I'm not supposed to talk about that.
Ebenfar was a human empire in the Western Heartlands that existed long before the "current" era of D&D (roughly between 1 DR and 323 DR). Its capital, also called Ebenfar, was located in what is now the High Moor. The empire was ruled by a figure known as the Shadowking, right?
