In the nearby future my players will have to travel through Llorkh, a zhentarim mining town west of Anauroch.(anno 1373). The forgotten realms handbook told me that the town's leader is a worshipper of Cyric (a god who's worshippers harrassed the pc in history more than one time). Because Fzoul and the upperhand of the zhentarim are Banites, I was wondering how the guy rules? Is it wide known that he is a worshipper of the prince of lies? Or does he do it in secret? How will the zhent's caravans that are travelling through the town on the fact that he is a cyricist?
Son of Thunder describes a few of the characters very well (and also killed a few) If you plan on doing anything on Llork you might want to get a look at that book!
@ Caravans and Cyric: I don't think, that they would care at all, to whom some major prays, as long as they are protected and find a save haven.
