Or in short, a major creation at will, that will have infinite(!) duration as long as the items created remain inside the stronghold (castle/manor etc).

A true must have for every wannabe rich guy, now you can drape the walls in adamant & rubies the size of skulls.. serve guests on plates of mithril and from goblets of ruby.
Then break thopse goblets once used.. isnt that Filthy Rich?

Obviously it would need the base of 9*5*1000 = 45k
But also some cost for added area covered.

..poor thieves hauling more rubies than they can carry.. only to have it all vanish once they exit ;)
Maybe that will teach greedy adventurers? ;)

Wouldnt a detect magic reveal any creations? Every serious thief should have that in his arsenal to find the "good stuff" hidden among the "merely flashy junk". Foiling detection wont come cheap.

Likely yes. But do thiefs carry this with them?
Besides, why keep any real stuff where it can be seen.. paintings and all can be replicated, hire a artist if nothing else (requires skill to make).
Well your clothes would have to be real tho.. expcept maybe those million-gem gowns for parties at home.

No, the real goods is best kept hidden in a vault the master can reach after dispelling a few cubic meters of adamantite blocking the way ;)
