Greetings all,
I've been looking for a good, Forgotten-Realms based forum RP for a friend and I to participate in recently, and after some skilled Google-Fu I stumbled across this forum, named after one of my favourite locations in all of Toril :D .
I'm sixteen, a bit of a Geek (but I have friends!), I'm male though I haven't quite got the level of humour to write "Yes please!" on the 'Sex' box. I live in the United Kingdom and I'm more than often trying to write stories about stuff that doesn't exist ;) . I'd like to study Science and English / English Literature at university, and hopefully someday have my very own book published -- I haven't yet found a storyline I can stick to though :( . I really like science fiction and fantasy, and my favourite author is Jim Butcher.
The only real 'D&D experience' I have is with playing the Baldur's Gate games and some extensive reading of the Forgotten Realms Wiki. I think I've got most of the basics down, but we're always learning, right? :P .
Anyway, I think I've rambled too much, good to be hear fellow Candlekeepers!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
