Hello.
I'm Valdimar, a young man from Iceland.
I've been getting a bit of nostalgia recently, among other things, thinking about the D&D world/Forgotten Realms. I was interested in it when I was younger, along with Tolkien's world and such things. Played the computer game Baldur's Gate when I was pretty young, I connect a lot of feeling to the atmosphere in the game.
I want to get a bit into the nostalgia by perhaps reading some novels based in the Forgotten Realms world.
Where should I start?
I've got the trilogy of Drizzt Do'Urden's origins, Homeland and co. Someone recommended checking them out, and the Icewind Dale trilogy later on.
I'm guessing this is the right place for questions like these.
Could you inform me on the subject?

Wel met and welcome Valdimar.
You could find several answers to your question in this firum : Forgotten Realms Novels, there are many threads as "Which one should I begin with?", "Which one to read next?", "Experienced help for recommending FR Novels",...
if you have any question, do not hesitate to ask, whatever it is... |
"Today is a good day to smile", Fillow Big'n'Book Mahlemiut 'Lead-dog', Son of Garl, Wanderer of the Masked Leaf and Namer of Oghma.
