just wanted to drop in and say hello, you have an awesome web site, I am a long time gamer (Star Wars D6, D20, Saga, Shadowrun, Battle Tech) Recently started a D&D group using 3.5 rules ( maybe 4th eventualy, maybe not) So I decided to use the Forgotten Realms, I love the setting, the rich history, The Novels. So I am some what of a Noob when it comes to the FR. This web site and Forum is a wealth of information and will make coming up with adventure hooks a breeze.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
