A Taste of Blood is a 4E D&D campaign set in the post-Spellplague Forgotten Realms. The year has freshly turned over, and it is now the first tenday of 1478 (yes, 1478), Dale Reckoning. I won't yet divulge where the events of the campaign will unfold, but the party will begin its career in the Lands of Intrigue.
Who do we need?
1. 3 more PCs.
2. Characters of 1st level.
3. Which party roles are needed have yet to be determined. Once we have a pool of players, we can discuss with each other which roles are best suited for whom.
4. Someone interested in and enthusiastic about roleplaying. Make no mistake: terrible battles will be waged, and ancient tombs will be plundered, but those with an interest in intrigue, drama, and personality will get the most out of play.
5. Someone capable of starting play sometime in the afternoons/evenings EST (which days and exact timing to be determined based on comparing schedules). Sessions will be once a week, occasionally twice if there is interest and availability.
6. Microphones required! This is critical to simulating the tabletop environment.
If you're interested:
Either reply to this thread or drop me a PM with some kind of instant messaging contact information. Myself and the other PCs recruited so far use AIM, so that would be most convenient. If you use something else, consider using www.pidgin.im to avoid having to run multiple clients.
If you haven't played online using Maptool before, no worries. We use a neat 4E framework to make things easy. Maptool itself is a quick download here: http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads#MapTool We use Skype for voice chat.
I'll edit this post when we're full up on interested players, so don't assume you're too late if you're reading this.

| The adventure idea does sound interesting and I'm always thinking of character ideas to play in campaigns, however, I don't know how to use/install Skype nor do I have a microphone lol. Though I'd be interested to see how the campaigns works out. |

It's pretty simple to install, and headsets with microphones aren't too pricy. Just a straight microphone by itself is even cheaper. |
