New one....

1) (average) What was the name of the family that was murdered by the Barghest Whelp in Sojourn?

2) (very hard) What is the name of Guenhwyvar's ORIGINAL "master"?

3) (hard) What was the first weapon that Drizzt ever held under Zak's training?

4) (average) Why was Dondon the halfling (the obese former thief in the Silent Blade) chained up?

5) (very hard) What was the name of Artemis' "wall of ash" weapon?

My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm

(3)halberd
(4)?
(5)?

Courage isn't the lack of fear but rather believing in and doing what you know is right even though fear is present.

Sorry folks...no one's even come CLOSE on #2......here's a hint: Check out Realms of Magic again.

Indeed...well done Arivia and William...

1) Thistledown
3) Halberd

We still have three more, though...

Well done Arivia!!!

One more to go, folks....

uhm...a clue, huh?

.....

Dondon was an old friend of Entreri's...a powerful rogue at one time...however, before Entreri ended his life, he lived in a sort of tavern/hideout owned by a halfling woman named Dwahvel.......

Ringing any bells? It might be a simpler answer than you think...

I skipped 5 at the beginning, thinking it was some question from one of the anthologies that I don't have. Charon's Claw was obvious , I thought.
I'll take a stab at 4:
Because he stole something from a member of Bregan D'aerthe or Artemis.(Don't have a copy of the Silent Blade)

Yes,professor Elenim, pick me...He had made a vow to stay inside but he stayed drunk more than sober so was chained for his own good.

Well done, indeed William! The little bastard became a big bastard and had to be chained up so he wouldn't kill himself...

God I loved that scene.

I completely missed the answers on this one. I'm thinking of Liriel Baenre for the subject of the other quiz. Now to start finding esoteric knowledge...

Can you do one on Salvatores books next? Nothing wrong with what has been done, it is just that I have mostly read Salvatore's books and
not all of them.
