So as far as realm irrelevant announcements and such.

I have been toying with the idea of going into writing at my university. I like writing and I feel like I could do well. I'm a bit unorganized and could use a lot of practice and work. And in order to do so and because I've always wanted too. I've started an experimental blog. I'm new at blogging and would like some input, some readers, and some traffic. I would love it if some of you would check it out and give me some responses, or input, etc. What I should do, how it is, what you think, if you like it and so on.

So this is a link, please and thank you.

p.s. At least this is about reading/writing, it's not completely irrelevant

I would advise saving the hate-granny fests for when you have a lot of traffic to your blog.

If not....write more about what she does. I mean really detail it, but only what you observe her actually do.

Then write about what it was like when you worked up the nerve to talk to her, learn about her and discover who she is.

Then ask yourself how an old woman can get you that worked up without even laying a finger on you, and write about that.

If you can do that without delving into all the things you'd like to do in return to her, you'll have an interesting set of posts.

Otherwise you'll have a set of blog posts that look like probable cause.

Just sayin...

I applaud your bravery at being the first and potential only response to my humble request of input.

Yeah well I will take what you say into consideration. But as far as my first blog goes I wasn't going to be too deep and was going to stick with the more shallow and abrasive humor in a way that is childishly whimsical in it's own profane and "ID" sort of way. I am/was attempting to come off as "that guy" who just kind of says his mind and isn't afraid to suggest sick or generally devious things based on my own random feelings at the time.

Though your advice is appreciated a thousand times over and if not for the current blog it will assuredly be implemented in a future blog that will have more depth and meaning. Such as an explanation of overcoming random hatred and etc, like you more or less explained.

I was also thinking of doing various future blogs, maybe way future, about reviews on various things such as movies, which I love very much, and one about various diet/nutritional plans, and how they work, etc. I've been a nutritional connoisseur of sorts lately, trying out various theories and what have you, being the reasoning behind the second idea mention.

I'll probably browse it, like I used to do with Sage's, but probably not reply unless its a update where I feel a need to reply to. :)

Like, for example, I'd probably reply to the nutrition stuff because that's what I'm going back to school for. It's been my passion ever since I went to school for culinary.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Yeah. I've got to get back to that. Eventually.

Grin, yea. Just like I should find a new home for my book reviews. I can't stand logging into Myspace, so my book journal fell by the wayside.

Speaking of MySpace... You know, I never did solve that problem that was preventing me from logging-in so I could post comments to your book-reviews.

Heh. Those were among the first aspects I looked over, Arik. I've longed suspected, though, that the problem had more to do with SageBrowser simply not recognizing the site for whatever reason. It's quirky like that... As the Lady K says, it's too much like it's designer.

Grin, but well, you really didn't miss anything by not being able to log into Myspace. :) Besides, there's talk now that it's up for sale.

And we took over this thread! muh hahaha.
