Olare!
So I've lurked on these boards for awhile and have finally decided that it's time for my grand entrance:

The approaching figure wears the vesture of a traveler and the face proclaiming his elven blood. As the dusk sun lights his weather-worn face he smiles, broad and friendly, to the watcher at the gate.
"Well met," says the watcher, "Have you a tome to donate?"
"Aye," the traveler grins, rifling through a side pack. "here it be, goodman, mine own work."
The watcher thumbs through pages of illustration, diagram and essay. A treatise on Mulhorandi religion preceded by the life-cycle of Tethyrian butterflies. Here an ancient saga of Illuskan Reaver-Kings, there the lyrics of Bawdy Green-elven sing-a-longs.
"The watcher barely suppresses a condescending look. "Half-elf, this may not be enough for entrance..."
"We shall see, goodman, we shall see."

Anyhow, I find your love for the Realms exciting and inspiring and hope to add my voice to your excellent community.

Hail and well met,Thysl,
Glad you decide to join,I was a lurker for a long time myself.

Courage isn't the lack of fear but rather believing in and doing what you know is right even though fear is present.

Greetings Thysl and welcome to the Keep.
A vast vault of knowledge, the likes of which I have never seen, nor will you find anywhere else... unless of course you count the private study of Grazzt but that's another matter. Any questions of have of the realms... or beyond... will be answered by the wise and learned sages of the keep. Also, if a thirst for knowledge is already sated, you can end your other thirst in the Candlekeep Inn, the Barkeep seems to be away at the moment but Kiarin and MuadDib, are running the place as smoothly as can be expected. But as usual I ramble... Welcome to the Keep!

Thank you all for that warm welcome!
Be on the look out for a post aksing for feed back on my latest campaign idea, coming as soon as it condenses to the bottom of my brain.
