after some detour through other realms, I've finally returned to the never forgotten Realms and plan to stay here for quite some time. And as I've yet much to learn about my old and new home(and probably will pester you with quite some questions) it seems only fair to bid you my sincere greetings (before starting the pestering)

Hm, actually it seems that I'm a bit late on several counts (considering that I registered just before making said detour which was quite some years ago; and considering that I 've already started to ask questions), but I guess, better late than never.

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Indeed, this site can be interesting.

Please feel welcomed.

Some of us are not the finest, however there is lore and tips here that you might enjoy. Oh there at times are what I call "natter", things posted that does not concern the realms (Birthdays one example.).

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Welcome WQ and entreri.

Not-so-fine sages like myself can sometimes answer questions, too.

Arik is far too modest: he's one of our best Lore Masters. Mastering the "Search" is quite helpful, and definitely subscribe to the oft-updated "Questions for Ed Greenwood" scroll for the most intriguing updates to the realms. I honestly never thought I'd read a posting on impotence in the Realms, but our scribes are full of surprises, as is Master Greenwood.

May your search for lore be free of incident and fruitful in its results.

May your spells go off as cast and intended!

Welcome, entreri3478 and Wormys_Queue! WQ, as your name is rather uncommon, I take it that I have seen you on the DnD-Gate boards?
