I'm looking for any lore available on this book, not the sourcebook, but something that one of my players keeps going on about at my gaming table. He keeps mentioning something about it being last seen in Cormyr? Personally, I don't really know what he's talking about, but maybe someone here can point me in the right direction?
He's the ind of player who's always helping me world-build our sandbox-style game, and I'd like to make this a reality for him.

There is a tome called The Book of the World, which is referenced in the 2e Draconimicon. There is only one known copy, found in lost Asram about a hundred years ago (in the 2e era, so 200 years ago in 4e). It is the only known draconic 'holy book', and is the basis for much of the info we are given in the Draconimicon.
I know of no in-game book by that title. |

| The magical tome entitled the Draconomicon is detailed in the 2e sourcebook Draconomicon, page 86-88. |

| Sammaster also created a magical tome related to his prophetic visions of Draco-liches...but it isn't called the Draconomicon. |

I stand corrected.
I went through that source yesterday, but hadn't come across that. I have never gotten that far into that book (ever, even when I owned a physical copy - dragons are one of my least-favorite subjects).
Thanks for the heads-up. |
