Man, what is that all about? I tried to read the tweets, but I can't stand Twitter.
I was such a huge Star Wars fan, and while I was annoyed be the wiping of the EU, the fact of the matter is I tried hard to get into the new stuff, but it just isn't as interesting to me. Now I'm glad I haven't stayed interested in it if this kind of stuff is going on! |

well it is a long story....
basically alot of things, too many to actually go and remember.
some of it is disney/lucasfilm attacking the fans ( calling them all white males that can stand strong female leads, amongst other things)
the split fandom by the last jedi
the fake SW trailer only done to piss off the fanbase even moer that was shown on the lateshow with colbert...
the boycott done by the fans
yeah there is more...
but yeah, Id rather see SW dead than deal with this mess |

| It's the usual modern culture war where "Nazi", "Misogyny", "Racist", etc. have become meaningless buzzwords. The new Star Wars split the fandom, and the end result is this mess, with people jumping in head-first into the wreck then getting burned on social media. |
