I finally got around to reading this. Am I wrong whwn I say that this saying theres nothing realms related in this? Sauter the example city isnt on any mqp or wiki I can find.

Yeah, I checked too and there’s no mention of Sauter anywhere in the maps or wikis. Maybe it’s a standalone concept or a fan idea that hasn’t been documented yet.

The city is a mystery... And the title of the product is Cities of Mystery... Sounds to me like it lived up to its name!

On a more serious note, I only looked through this product once and dismissed it as having nothing of interest in it.

I was unimpressed by this product. Because it didn't actually contain any specific cities. It was just a bunch of generic city-generation charts and DM aids. Entirely unnecessary in a setting which was already filled with many highly-detailed cities and settlements you could pull out on demand.

A lot of late-2E-era stuff used Realms branding to sell generic (and otherwise unsellable) D&D stuff. It didn't even contain a "where to use this or put this in the your Realms" addendum. This was one such product.
