I think I can put Tymanther somewhere in the Shaar. The vast savanna-like grassland has room for a kingdom of Dragonborn. Better than putting it in Unther, by any scale.
Either the Western Shaar, or the Eastern Shaar, I still haven't decided yet.

| Too soon, my friend. At least allow the wounds to heal a bit. I know people here disliked the place because of its 4e origins, but I was invested in Tymanther as it was (in the area it fell, not in some plains nobody use because they are utterly boring). I'm still sad about the way they destroyed it (as if it was something irrelevant). |

I feel your pain.
I wanted to put Tymanther some place where it could be used. either to the east of Amn or Tethyr, or on the Shaar. There's a lot of room in the Realms for a small kingdom of Dragonborn. |

| Perhaps? I don't know. It would meant displacing Djerad Thymar, and I do not think that's possible unless some archwizard of the level of the ancient Netherese decides to move the city there. And where? The Shaar is mostly arid savanna. We need a place with access to water, and those places are already occupied. |

| That sounds like a cool idea! Placing Tymanther in the Shaar would give the Dragonborn plenty of space to thrive. I think the Western Shaar could work nicely with its open terrain, but the Eastern Shaar might offer more interesting storytelling opportunities. Excited to see what you choose! |
