Can anyone give me a detailed history of the Underdark and mainly the drow? I know alot of it but I need a detailed history to fill in the missing gaps for this project Im working on.

Have you checked the Underdark books? There was Underdark for 3E, and Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark for 2E... The 2E Menzoberranzan boxed set could come in handy, too.

Remember, the Underdark covers a huge span of real estate... And yet, the civilized areas are all remote and isolated. So trying to write up that history requires a lot more space than is available in a thread!

Menzoberranzan boxed set (2E)
Drow of the Underdark (2E)
Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark (2E)
Underdark (3E)
The Dark Elf Trilogy (Homeland, Exile, Sojourn)
The Daughter of the Drow Trilogy (can't think of the individual titles off hand)

are pretty much your only sources.

Well, just in case the mentioned materials are not available to you, here is something you can try,

This website has some interesting timelines that maybe of side interest to you, if you please.

We have fostered trust, recruited loyalty, and gathered the faithful. We have trained thousands. Our legions can cover the land, fill the sky and travel through the darkness. We can hunt any and all that would deny our heritage. Now is our time, now is the time of the Dark Reign(Rain) of the Empire of Shadows.

Nay!

The Realms of the Underdark anthology also has a few odd historical tidbits scattered about through the stories inside.

You might want to check that novel out as well.

Thank you but my local bookstores are either closed or desroyed after this hurricane so it may be a while before I can get pick up any of those books.

Other than Underdark and the novels, you'd likely not find any of those books in a bookstore -- they're out of print. My source for OOP stuff is eBay, but I know some scribes have other sites they use to buy Realmslore.

You may want to try nobleknight.com for some copies of these books. RPGNow.com also carries a few of these titles in PDF format.

Well if you want the history of the drow fall, you should check out Lost Empires of Faerun, the 2E Demihuman Deities, or 2E Elves of Cormanthyr for that history.

Elaine Cunningham's novel Evermeet gives it a passing mention as well.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.
