           	| Hello-
I realize that Candlekeep is only 'holding' the Realms-L list, and can't add or modify it. However - I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for Printing it?

I thought that maybe I could highlight the whole thing - but it seemed likme I would have to scroll down in highlighting mode for like 10 minutes! LOL

I am not the most versed when it comes to things computer-ish - so I may have missed something obvious!

 Thanks again all!

                      | Not sure what URL you are looking at, but print page can work (you do pick up noise that way) or Yes you would need to copy all the text you want to highlight and place in in another program that prints docs. |
                      | "Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Just hit the control button and the letter A at the same time -- that highlights everything (All). Right-click and copy (or hit control-c). Then go over to Word or some similar program, and do a right-click and paste, or just hit control-v.

An alternative is to highlight a section at the top, move to another point, hit the shift key, and then highlight another section. This will highlight everything between the first and second highlit areas, including those areas. Then you can use your preferred method of copying and pasting it elsewhere.

                      | Well met
Indeed, the furry one gives good advise. I always intended to include a "Printer Friendly" link for the FAQ.

I've been giving the FAQ a lot of thought lately. It is severely out of date and efforts to locate the maintainers have failed. Mayhaps starting a new, extensive FAQ should be on my list and perhaps a project we can start here at Candlekeep.

                      | Hello-
Well - I don't intend to add mote work for you all good Sirs!

And what exactly do you mean by 'exhaustive'? The Realms-L FAQ IS quite 'Extensive' as it stands already.

Hopefully you don't mean 'Tiring' LOL

I would be willing to lend a hand if such was needed - although as new as I am here - I fear that many tidbits and morsels would elude my knowledge.

Thanks for your kind and fast replies - I shal try that method whence I get home from work!

 Well met

Oh there is much more lore that can be included in a FAQ
I'd certainly like to add sections relating to the RSE's and FAQ for the current situations of the Realms (i.e. The Harpers\Moonstars etc.)
Thank ye for the offer, Dhomal, I'll add ye to my list of

                      | Hmmm... A possible way to update it would be to start a new, "Update the FAQ" thread. First we compile new questions for it, and then, one or two at a time, we compose answers... We can do it as a group, so as to draw on more lore and resources. And we'd likely be able to have some of our friendly Realms creators help out, too. |

If you want Big Al, I can continue with that piece and present it here for further comment and suggestions when it's done. After that, we can concentrate on other areas of the Realmslore that might need some attention.

Do I? :) There is no FAQ over there, my jedi mind tricks make you believe that.

But seriously, yes I've been keeping one for over a year.

                      | For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Indeed, I think creating a new FAQ is the right step forward. Feel free to post what you have regarding the Moonstars situation, Sage. It's an aspect of the Realms which interests me greatly and also is an area which often raises the question as to the origins and details of this particular event and situation.

Back to the FAQ, any interested in taking an active part in this, please contact me to begin with so that we may set some foundation stones. Thank ye.
