For any mortal living or dead what has been the highest single level seen? I know Larloch is like 42 or 43 but is there anything higher on a mortal(best use the word "non godly")level than that? Please respond O great sages, Tempus thanks you! -Atlas

Soldiers fight, thieves steal, bards sing, wizards cast, sages think, assassins kill. Good or Evil we all have a job. So tell me this. What the hell are nobles and merchants for?

you can potentially gain infinite levels however when you approach 40th level you are essentially as powerful as a deity... deities have few powers outside their class levels as well which is generally about 60th level. anyone near 40th level though is essentially invulnerable.

In the 3.0/3.5 edition the creature with the highest number of class levels that comes to my mind (and I have no books here to back me up) would be Ioulaum who has 41(he is mentioned in LEoF).

Actually Larloch is listed as a 32 level character in 3E Lords of Darkness, not level 46. So he isn't that grand after all but he got plenty of powerful undead to do the dirty work for him anyway. Generally, those past the 30th level is considerably powerful enough already. Elminister is...I think level 35 or so. Well, I think the realm got plenty of characters that are past the level 30.
Telamont Tanthul, somewhere of a 35th level wizard. Oyshar Shoon VII, ex-36th level wizard and demi-lich, status unknown but no longer that strong anymore according to rumors, some say his spirit is trapped in a elven lass. Queen Amlaruil: I estimate her to be somewhere between level 25-level 30, and since she is a bit Chosen of the Seldarine or Correllon, don't know any more adjustments to her level. Srinshee-something of a 30th level. Iolaum-should be around level 41 while living as an elder brain. His apprentice is of about 23rd level I think and she is still alive but under the Shadovar "protection". Lady Saharel: supposedly 30th level wizard, status unknown to me. Also, there are some elite leaders of the Twisted Rune that are past the 30th level. |
