Posted - 22 Sep 2005 : 22:18:03 Well if you want the history of the drow fall, you should check out Lost Empires of Faerun, the 2E Demihuman Deities, or 2E Elves of Cormanthyr for that history. |

Thank you but my local bookstores are either closed or desroyed after this hurricane so it may be a while before I can get pick up any of those books.
Other than Underdark and the novels, you'd likely not find any of those books in a bookstore -- they're out of print. My source for OOP stuff is eBay, but I know some scribes have other sites they use to buy Realmslore. |

Menzoberranzan boxed set (2E) Drow of the Underdark (2E) Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark (2E) Underdark (3E) The Dark Elf Trilogy (Homeland, Exile, Sojourn) The Daughter of the Drow Trilogy (can't think of the individual titles off hand)
are pretty much your only sources.
Nay!
The Realms of the Underdark anthology also has a few odd historical tidbits scattered about through the stories inside.
You might want to check that novel out as well.
Thanks Sage, I knew I was forgetting something. |

Have you checked the Underdark books? There was Underdark for 3E, and Drizzt Do'Urden's Guide to the Underdark for 2E... The 2E Menzoberranzan boxed set could come in handy, too.
Remember, the Underdark covers a huge span of real estate... And yet, the civilized areas are all remote and isolated. So trying to write up that history requires a lot more space than is available in a thread! |
