Here the new supplement:

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/dndacc/9780786947980

Anybody who played it already? Will it be worth buying it?

Thanks for any comments

I have bought it for my brother as a Christmas present. Will be trying it then. Looks like fun. We've played Three Dragon Ante a few times and that was fun so here's hoping (and then we can use both tied into a realms campaign, maybe the PCs play some NPCs at these games) :)

That reminds me, I still need to pick up my own copy of Three Dragon Ante. I am looking forward to hearing more people's thoughts on Inn-Fighting too.

I played a couple of games of Inn-Fighting at the D&D Day in November. It's a fast-paced game that's reasonably easy to learn. For me it's a beer & pretzle game - one that is easy to learn, quick to play, but one which doesn't really hold my interest for more than an hour or so. It's something I'll probably play while waiting for everybody to show up for a more serious game.

Well - beer and pretzel while playing cards sounds good to me Halidan .

A game for an hour isn't that bad, but if you can’t find the motivation to play it again it would be very dissatisfactory.

I think you might have misunderstood me. I could easily play this game more than once - just not for more than 1 hour at any one time. It's a reasonable sort of game, nothing special, but nothing that bad either.

My group and I actually liked it so much, we forgot we met for roleplaying the day I bought it.
Anybody knows what happened to the promised online-template for adding one's own characters to the game?

I will pester my fantasy-shop owner with some “gluehwein” (mulled wine) this evening, that we may have a look on this tonight

See you there than... aber bitte mit Schuss!

Btw - our skandinavian scribes should know this drink as Glögg! Much better up there (at least in Stockholms Skansen) than you'll find on most of the german "weihnachtsmärkten"! But anyhow, enough of this non-sense. I'll tune in once again when I have more to say about the main topic of this thread.

Yeah, I enjoy it. Worth the coin IMO.

If I waited till I knew what I was doing, I'd never get anything done.

I just ordered it on amazon last night. Not a single gamestore sells it around here. "Too new and only available in english!" they say. Oh well, so be it. It's been sent off already. Will have to wait for after Christmas though to play it as it is a gift to a friend and I certainly won't spoil ht fun t before....

Hope all the praise holds true!

I tested it yesterday – and with the right players it is a lot of fun. As you are trying to hit the others hard and dirty, maybe one advice – play it with very good friends, who can stand some puns – or with people you wanted to smack anyway
