The excerpts for Elder Evils have been posted here:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4ex/20071203a
I was interested to see that a name familiar to the Forgotten Realms was present, but not one I was expecting. The three beings most likely to have the terms "elder" and "evil" don't show up in here (which is odd, because I actually thought they were suppose to), but the Pandorym does make an appearance.

Which are you referring to? Moander maybe? Several of the Faerun specific evils were covered in Champions of Ruin, so I am curious what I might be missing here! |

Hi, Ranak! KnightErrant is referring to the Pandorym, an ancient "sentient weapon" created by the old imaskari to be used as a contingency against the mulhorand gods.
Pandorym history, and the battle against it is detailed in the novel Darkvision, by Bruce Cordell. |

As far as the Elder Eternal Evils go though, from what I had read before, I thought they would have been touched on in this book. In fact, I could have sworn somewhere that it was said they would be in the book. I know they have stats in Champions of Ruin, but the way this book is set up, they would have given signs and portents relating to the coming of the evil, etc.
Dendar especially would have fit well in this book's format, I think. |

Got this too. It's a high level mini-adventure book. Nine of the ten chapters are 1 shot boss encounters you can use at the end of your adventures that are 6-8 page long. There's lair information for where the evil lives, it's really more of a DM product then a PC product. |
