Poll Question:
And once again I feel the subject of the poll is self-explanatory.

Note: I go by WoTC's product listing, so if any novel shouldn't be in this poll, it's their fault

Choices:

The Howling Delve by Jaleigh Johnson
Swords of Dragonfire by Ed Greenwood
Storm of the Dead by Lisa Smedman
Shadowstorm by Paul S Kemp
The Orc King by R A Salvatore
Stardeep by Bruce R Cordell
Crypt of the Moaning Diamond by Rosemary Jones
Neversfall by Ed Gentry

(Anonymous Vote)

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

Had to vote for Pauls novel as it is the only one that I indeed have read so far.

Ed's Swords of Dragonfire is the only listed book that I've read. So it gets my vote.

Swords of Dragonfire and Shadowstorm are the 2 that I have read from list list. While both were great and I have been a fan of Ed for over 20 years, the scales tip just slightly in favor of Paul's trilogy on this one.

I picked Crypt of the Moaning Diamond, mainly because of how light-hearted it was. I loved the characters, too.

I'll have to get back to this one, since I've only read one, but do own more of them. Expect a vote sometime before the end of the year.

Ed's Swords of Dragonfire is head and shoulders better writing than the others on this list.
I expect Paul Kemp's ongoing Erevis Cale arc is going to be a classic, but "Shadowstorm" considered on its own fell short of Dragonfire, for me.
Several of the one-shot books on this list were more fun and wrapped up their plots more tidily (and so they should, as standalones), but . . . Dragonfire stands above them all.
Again: for me. YMMV.

I loved Ed's book, but Crypt was probably the most fun for me.

My vote goes to Kemp. I enjoy all his novels. I feel like I'm part of the action at a gaming table when I read his books.
