I stumbled upon this forum by sheer randomness, didn't even know of its existence until just recently, was just browsing through forgotten realm pictures on Google images, and a picture, which escapes me now, cause I'm too excited about this forum.
I love the series Baldur's Gate, I started playing the first one when I was around 8 years old, in good 'ol 1999 hehe. Well that's probably a lot to write for now, just introducing myself, as Dynyn. I usually go by the moniker Goriyon, which is just my way of spelling Gorion, but hell Gorion is, or WAS a very honored mage in Candlekeep, and felt it rude to say I was him. But yeah, I'm glad to be here, and thanks!

| Welcome and well met. Sage and the "Furry One" will be by shortly to give their personal greetings to new scribes. |
"These things also I have observed: that knowledge of our world is to be nurtured like a precious flower, for it is the most precious thing we have. Wherefore guard the word written and heed words unwritten and set them down ere they fade . . . Learn then, well, the arts of reading, writing, and listening true, and they will lead you to the greatest art of all: understanding." Alaundo of Candlekeep |

Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |
