Drizzt would have been nothing without Zak. Matteo needed his Tzigone (or perhaps the other way around), and Liriel loves her Fyodor....
So...
Who do you think is the best supporting character in the Realms?

My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm |

I think Cyric is the best. Just kidding zhents. I think the best supporting actor well the oscar goes to Catty Brie(I love her, I can challenge Wulfgar for her upps I forgot he is not intrested with her anymore) |

Supporting as in has never had a novel solely focused on him?
Elaith Craulnober. He's the Mercutio of every Elaine novel. He steals the show from the main characters in every scene. |

AH! Good choice! I was hoping someone might mention the divine Eliath Craulnober! I feel compelled to point out something that makes me sound very dorky - Eliath has the same initials and number of letters in his name as Elaine Cunningham....
Sigh.
But yes indeed, fine choice! |

Rathan and Torm from Ed's novels, they make a great pair.
And also the battlerager commander (forgot his name) from "Siege of Darkness". |

Pharaun and Ryld without a doubt are perfect together - although I wouldnt say one is supporting to another, theyre pretty much equal.
I thought Cyric and Malik together in Crucible were quite funny too |

Thibbledorf Pwent, Battlerager.
My choices would be Elaith, Fyodor, and Thorn and Sharlarra(from Windwalker). |
