Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I was once a huge Dungeons and Dragons player, but slowly worked out as I went to college. There, I got into horror reading and spent the majority of my life reading that kind of stuff. Now, fantasy is the game and I'm looking forward to it!
Maybe a little advice from you guys would be cool. I guess I'm not that new to the genre .... I read the Avatar Trilogy many moons ago, but want to read it again.
As far as FG goes, I've read the Icewind Dale series and it's Dar Elf Trilogy. I'm just finishing up Cleric's Quintet now, and have Silent Blade and Spine of the World ready to go. I'm guessing finish out the other two in the series and move on, but to where.
Should I read another Drizzt, or move away from that for awhile and explore some other areas and authors. Should I do the Avatar trilogy right away or something else.
There's so much to do and I'm not sure where to go next ..
... wow, what an introduction, huh?

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here! 
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

THanks for the warm welcome. I'm going to finish Quintet, then move on to Silent Blade, Spine of the World, etc .... Not sure where I'm going from there. Gonna do some research in the novels forums!
