Just wanted to send out my thoughts and prayers to the New Zealand folks hit by this horrible quake.

Bless you all.

Indeed. My sympathies to everyone affected by this, and my hopes that they and their families are alright.

Aye, truly shocking.

I've some friends in Christchurch that I've yet to hear from. But given that communications are still sketchy at best, I'm naturally thinking of them during this time.

It certainly seems a bit rougher this time than the big quake a few months ago.

This time, it seems to have a more shallow centre, and to have happened during daylight hours (instead of when most are at home, asleep).

Time will tell how bad it is. Indications aren't very good.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this disaster.
